Musica Viva Armidale supports a fund that provides UNE students involved in the UNE Colleges Chamber Ensemble programme with the opportunity to receive annual subscription tickets to the concert series.

The fund was established with support from her husband Bill Dangar, community members and from the sale of her piano scores.

Helen Dangar was a graduate in Languages from UNE, a lover of good music, a pianist, a former NECOM employee and supported Musica Viva Armidale by assuming the role of President and committee member for many years.

As a result of a number of generous donations, the “Award” allows long-serving committed students engaged in the UNE Colleges Chamber Ensemble Programme to receive tickets to attend Musica Viva concerts. The interest from this fund will support the programme to run in perpetuity.

People who wish to contribute to this fund should contact Deidre Rickards (0439 711 444) OR NECOM (6788 2137).
